The Finance Committee is charged with reviewing and studying the necessary expenses of district administration. The Committee consists of three members, with the first member appointed for a term of one year, the second for a two year term, and the third for a three year term. Each year thereafter the District Governor appoints one member for a three year term to fill the vacancy that occurs as terms expire.
The Finance Committee, working cooperatively with the Governor-Elect, prepares a budget of district revenues and expenses. This proposed budget is then submitted to all district clubs at least four weeks before the District Assembly. Club presidents-elect vote on the budget at the Assembly.
