Re: Governor Nominating Committee

Dear Rotarians:

The District Nominating Committee is accepting applications for District Governor Designate, for the Rotary Year 2012-2013. This would be the Governor following DGN Megan Jones-Holt.

Applicants must have been a past president and a member of Rotary for 7 years. The applicant needs to be endorsed by their club.

It is very prestigious to be a District Governor. The experience energizes the club, and they grow in Rotary spirit and knowledge. It binds the group together and makes it a more cohesive club. It is hard work and time consuming, but definitely worth it in the long run. For the Governor himself, it is a year of tremendous personal growth.

The application deadline is January, 31, 2010.

The Nominating committee Chair is PDG Michael Hart.

After all of the applications are received, the Governor will appoint the balance of the committee, to consist of a second PDG, and five more past president Rotarians, respectively representing the five counties of our district, none of whom may be in a club of an applicant.

Please contact PDG Michael Hart at drmhart@yahoo.com or office phone 732-549-5660 if you are interested, or have questions.

Sincerely, Yours in Rotary Service,
PDG Michael Hart
