Rotary International Presidential Citation

The Presidential Citation recognizes Rotary clubs for achieving an array of accomplishments that help them become stronger, deliver more effective service, and enhance their public image.

The 2016-2017 Presidential Citation will recognize Rotary clubs that take action to increase their membership, enhance their service impact, and expand their network and enhance their public image. The complete criteria for this award will be distributed to all club presidents to discuss with their clubs.

By qualifying for the Presidential Citation, clubs contribute to Rotary‚Äôs organizational goals and multiply the impact of their good work through the collective focus of 34,000 Rotary clubs worldwide.

Clubs are asked to review the criteria in the Presidential Citation brochure and to use Rotary Club Central to record the club's progress toward achieving goals, some of which are used to qualify the clubs for the Presidential Citation.

Unless otherwise specified, all activities must be undertaken and completed between 1 July and 31 March of the current Rotary year.

Clubs should make sure that achievement of goals and data entry takes place no later than March 31, 2017.

The brochure with criteria is available here.
