Presidents-Elect Training Seminars (PETS)
DGE Robert "Bob" Zeglarski
The district holds two PETS sessions during the Spring to help prepare in-coming club presidents and officers for their new positions. The fees for these training seminars is included in your club's district dues payment each year. Attendance is mandatory for in-coming presidents.
The first session is a district-only event for in-coming presidents, held at a local hotel or other facility. The district governor elect (DGE) presents a training opportunity that helps the in-coming presidents get attuned to their position and to the DGE's program for the year beginning July 1. Official photos are taken immediately after arrival and check-in.

The two-day event features really interesting, knowledgeable and great speakers from around the world to inspire incoming presidents. It also provides an opportunity to mix and mingle with other presidents-elect from outside of our district, sharing knowledge and experiences and ideas.
This second presidents-elect training seminar is a multi-district event for in-coming presidents, held at an area hotel to facilitate overnight stays, if desired. The multi-day training opportunity helps in-coming presidents further their preparation for assuming office. Sessions are scheduled for attendees from all districts, along with special sessions for our district only, and even sessions for presidents-elect who have previously served as a club president.
