The Membership Directorate has a function of its own since the last Rotary year, having been separated from Club Administration during the administration of Andy Calamaras, PDG.

The Mission of Membership has been stated as follows:
The Membership Committee, the chairs of all the subcommittees, and the Area Coordinators are not only available to assist you but will offer to assist you and will provide you with a continuing source of information, inspiration and direction. We want you to join us in the goal of increasing and retaining members in your Club and your District. We hope that you will think of the wonderful services and resources that are offered to you as an additional tool in your arsenal of success.
The goal is 2000 by 2009
