- Attend District Training Events: Member Orientation …assign one to a new member immediately (for at least 6 months)
- Utilize Rotary Resources: The Rotarian, RI & District Web Sites, ABC’s of Rotary, District Membership Director, ADG’s and Area Coordinators
- Utilize Human Resources: Your Club Members, Club Programs, the District Staff, Networking with other Rotarians, Club Mentors, Community Leaders
#2. Make Your Club Meetings Interesting & Fun!

- Create Fellowship and Build Future Club Leaders:
Greeters- Assign to Newer Members, Change Weekly
Call Club Members Who Have Missed Several Meeting –*Have Organized Meetings:
Start & End On Time.
Have a Good Location and Good Atmosphere – Arrange Club Programs In Advance Acknowledge All Visiting Rotarians And Guest
Send Thank You Cards To Program Speakers
- Have Motivating & Informative Club Programs:
Classification Talks by Both Your Newer and Experienced Members
Invite Prospective Members to Present A Program and Invite Them Back
Present Programs that Can Create Future Club Projects (Community or International)
#3. Develop Good Club Member Communication!
HOW & WHY…
- Have A Club Bulletin:
Print Weekly Or Twice A Month – Mail Out to Members Who Were Not At The Meeting To Keep Them Updated - Have A Current Club Roster:
Give To All Club Members For Ongoing Personal Communication & Fellowship - Assign New Members To Projects & Give Written Assignments To Club Members
- Have A Telephone/Sunshine Committee:
Check On Members Who Are Sick/Elderly (Offer To Drive To Meetings)
Notify Club Members Quickly Of All Important Club News
Check Quickly On All Member’s Progress With club Projects - Acknowledge Your Club Members Achievements And Efforts!
