The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International. Through the Foundation, Rotary does great work all over the world, both through grants to Rotary Clubs and to organizations fighting our common goal of eliminating polio from the globe.
Over the years, our Rotarians in our District have been recognized by the Rotary Foundation for work done in support of the Foundation's goals.
These awards are not freely given; one must earn the award, and not through contributing money!
Rotary Foundation Service Above Self Awards
The recipients have demonstrated exemplary humanitarian service, in any form and at any level, with an emphasis on personal volunteer efforts and active involvement in helping others through Rotary. Personal financial contributions to The Rotary Foundation or any individual project are not relevant considerations for this award.
